As some of you may have heard, this week the DVSA announced that driving and motorcycle training and tests can resume in July 2020.
The past three months have been difficult to navigate – for organisations and individuals alike. Many businesses, small and large, have been under extraordinary pressure – and some haven’t made it. To those of you who have stuck with NEDS and Chartwise in this tricky and uncertain period, we are immensely grateful, and very proud to have you as part of the Chartwise family.
We are happy to announce, following this news from the DVSA, that we are in a position to resume our vehicle training. Of course, in delivering this service we will abide by relevant social distancing guidelines – the safety and comfort of our candidates is our primary concern (besides, of course, training them to be the best drivers they can be!)
Theory tests will recommence on Saturday 4th July 2020. We know many of you have been itching to get these tests over with, and we appreciate your patience.
Vehicle training, including Categories B, B+E, C1, C and C+E will begin again from 4th July also.
HGV driving tests will recommence on Monday 13th July; the idea behind this, the DVSA has said, is to give learners some time to take a refresher lesson or two before taking their test.
Many people have asked us about car training, also known as Category B – and we are very excited to tell you that this is a service we now offer!
